From Backyard Transformation to Homegrown Food Movement

A Journey of Cultivation & Growth

My passion for gardening didn't start with food - it started with a barren backyard and a desire to create beauty.  I spent years self-teaching horticulture, experimenting with plants, and transforming my outdoor space into a lush, peaceful oasis.

But as I cultivated my backyard, I realized something deeper - why wasn't I growing my own food?

With the same passion and determination, I shifted my focus to growing fruits, vegetables, and herbs - free from pesticides and chemicals.  I learned how to maximize small spaces, manage soil health, and create a self-sustaining garden that could provide fresh, organic food year-round.

🌿 The Birth of Glo Cultivates Gardens

Through my journey, I discovered that many people—especially apartment dwellers, condo owners, and those with limited space—wanted to grow their own food but didn’t know where to start.

I knew that if I could transform my space, anyone could—with the right guidance. That’s why I created Glo Cultivates Gardens, a resource to help others learn how to successfully grow food indoors, outdoors, and in small spaces
